About us
Hobby Soc is a society which is based at Sheffield Hallam University. The main aim of the society is to provide a place for people to socialise while helping them to make new friends and settle into university life. As a society we also pride ourselves on being sensitive to the needs of others especially those with low self-confidence and anyone on the Autism spectrum.
Our socials happen every Wednesday and start at 6pm in the students union. The events that we do vary each week depending on what the members chose. A few examples of past socials are laser quest, escape rooms, meals out, cinema, bowling and an overnight stay in London.
All are welcome to join so if you want to get involved in a friendly, helpful and truly different society, then we might be the society for you!
